Thoughts and Prayers for Santa Paula

December 8, 2017 @ 10:57 am posted by Brace and Support Help

Our good friends at Hely & Weber have a facility in Santa Paula.  They were evacuated due to the fires but thankfully have all returned to work safe and sound.  Special thanks to the Santa Paula Fire Department for your tireless efforts.  Tip your cap to Hely & Weber for shifting all of the Santa Paula facility’s responsibilities to their Dallas facility.  Most customers experienced regular  ordering and delivery of Hely & Weber’s high end orthopedic bracing.  Great job everyone!

Black Friday Back Braces

November 24, 2017 @ 10:40 am posted by Brace and Support Help

Warm and Form Back Support

Warm and form back braces.  If you’ve been putting off ordering your brace, now is a good time.  The holidays are here, ain’t nobody got time for back pain.

Did you go to the mall this morning and your back was aching?  Possibly twinged something lifting the turkey out of the oven?  I hurt my back yesterday going to for a walk.  Yes, I know it sounds silly – but it happened.  I’m close to 50 years old, and had the brilliant idea to climb over the railing of a staircase.  I’ll spare you the details, but I stepped funny, fell on my butt, and woke up this morning with an old familiar friend, back pain.

The next few weeks are going to be busy ones.  Take care of the back pain now, or it will take care of you.

Boxer Fracture Splint

Boxer Fracture Splint

Did you punch something harder than your hand?  It happens.  The boxer fracture, simply put, is a broken pinky.  It’s painful and aggravating.  Generally it happens when punching something.  A splint is a much better treatment option than a cast for this type of fracture.  A splint can be removed, and washed.  Also, it’s much easier to sleep in than a plaster cast.  A splint is lower profile (smaller), and significantly more comfortable.   Absolutely worth trying.   Learn more about the TKO Boxer Fracture Splint.
